Pepsi's market share had long remained at the same level when only Coca Cola and Pepsi were in the Japanese cola drink market. Pepsi launched calorie-free PEPSI NEX in 2006 followed by Coca Cola's calorie-free coke, which was the beginning of “War of Calorie-Free Cola.”

new KIT KAT

Kit Kat Mail was created in unprecedented collaboration with the Japan Post that had just been privatized. This campaign won the Grand Prix in the media category at the 2009 Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival and became the first Japanese brand that had ever won the award.

JWT, the world's first advertising agency, was founded 146 years ago in the United States. However, JWT today is no longer an advertising business as you know it.

We are a team of professionals offering communications solutions to connect businesses with people. Evolved digital media today provide truly diverse touch points between companies and consumers. A decade ago, we would develop an original idea to communicate to consumers through TV and other mainstream media. Today, how we engage consumers emotionally in our ads is what counts. I believe that people love a brand long when ads for the brand find themselves being part of people's everyday lives and have interactive connection with consumers via varied touch points.
