BRANDZ
- BRANDS is the WPP Group's brand equity surevy conducted in 26 countries annually. (In Japan, it is conducted in 30 categories.)
- The design of the survey is based on the notion "the stronger the tie between the brand and people, the better sales grow."
- It measures the brand's power by quantifying how strong the tie between the brand and people as well as how much people are aware of and understand the brand.
- It is used for developing effective marketing plans and strategies to build a brand.
3D
- 3D is the WPP Group's unique survey. In Japan, it is conducted with about 3,000 respondents annually.
- It is conducted for each of the following categories concerning consumers' behavior: ① Consumers' attitudes and values ② How they actually use categories and brands ③ How they contact media.
- It does cross-tabulation of varied combinations in order to use the data for defining targets highly likely to give good responses and for planning effective and efficient communication.
Annual Global 10 Trends
- The Trend Spotting Group at JWT Head Office in New York form hypotheses based on information from "trend spotters" in varied fields across the world and examine them quantitatively to forecast coming global trends.
- The trend forecasts enable brands to plan marketing activities that quickly satisfy consumers' emerging desires and demands.
Global Monitor
- Global Monitor is an annual quantitative survey conducted across the world by the Future Company, a member of the WPP Group. (In 2009, it was conducted in 20 countries with 27,000 respondents. In Japan, about 1,000 people responded the survey.)
- It figures out quantitative standards and regularities consumers around the world are beginning to have to provide knowledge of and insight into trends that make consumers behave in certain ways and make brands do certain things.
Engagement Planning
- Engagement Planning is JWT's unique planning tool for creating powerful ideas that make people want to spend a lot of their time with a brand.
- It covers all phases of communication planning from defining a long-term brand vision to developing plans to achieve the vision.
- Effective use of this tool allows a brand to launch and continue its own communication resting on consistent ideas.
Media Audit
- This is a media buying audit for transparency of media business and for efficient media activities.
- It compares marketing costs and actual buying costs as well as GRP values for purchase and actual GRP, and analyzes the percentages of target reach in order to offer improvement plans for better quality of buying in itself.

Marketing ROI Analysis
- To have quantitative and objective understanding of the effect of investment in marketing, Marketing ROI Analysis prepares data of multiple plans upon which the evaluation of the effect is based so that any unprofitable investment can be cut and promising strategies will enjoy investment.
- Modeling and ROI analysis combined together identify and schedule effective plans, prepare guidelines for amounts to invest in marketing activities, and develop plans for marketing activities aimed at targets.
