The major objective of the Strategic Planning Group (SPG) is to draw a bold and in-depth marine chart in order to "create compelling brands in the minds of consumers." To achieve the goal, knowing what consumers have in their minds (i.e. getting insights into consumers) is crucial. We carefully draw out perceptions and desires of which consumers are in many cases not aware to delve into how our client's brand can satisfy the desires and relieve the frustration that comes with the desires. Then, based on insights that have been yielded, we make suggestions as to what the brand should aim for. With the deep insights and bold visions, we planners give inspirations for powerful brand building, which is the most important role we have to play, and is the best part of being planners.

The scope of our planning has been going through significant change. Today, we need to know what is deep inside consumers overseas as well as in Japan. And our principle remains the same no matter how many borders of countries we need to cross. Working with planners overseas as a team, we continue to take up the challenge of branding that starts from gaining insights into expanding markets.
